Adrenal Cocktails, what are they and what do they do?
Adrenal exhaustion (aka adrenal fatigue) happens when the adrenal glands can’t keep up with chronic stress, leading to imbalances in cortisol, aldosterone, and adrenaline. This can seriously impact energy, metabolism, and overall well-being.
Symptoms of Adrenal Exhaustion:
Constant fatigue – Feeling wiped out even after a full night’s sleep
Brain fog – Struggling to focus, poor memory, and mental sluggishness
Salt & sugar cravings – Electrolyte imbalances make you crave all the wrong things
Low blood pressure/dizziness – Especially when standing up too fast
Poor stress tolerance – Easily overwhelmed or anxious
Sleep issues – Trouble falling asleep, waking up at 2-4 AM, or feeling exhausted in the morning
Blood sugar crashes – Feeling shaky, irritable, or weak when hungry
Getting sick often – Weakened immune system and slow recovery
Hormonal imbalances – Irregular periods, PMS, low libido, or thyroid issues
Adrenal exhaustion is usually caused by chronic stress, poor diet, overwork, lack of sleep, and too much caffeine.
How to Support Your Adrenals:
Prioritise sleep and stress management
Keep blood sugar stable by eating protein, healthy fats, and fiber with every meal
Get plenty of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, magnesium)
Cut back on stimulants like caffeine and alcohol
Load up on Vitamin C & B vitamins for adrenal support
Basic adrenal cocktail recipie:
Coconut water
Lemon juice

For best results, enjoy an adrenal cocktail mid morning, or mid afternoon to help avoid energy slumps!
